Here is my Hijack this log. Once I click on counter-strike, and I get to the main menu, my computer starts lagging big time. Response time, is retarded. Once I get in the game, everything works fine. So, when I check the task manager while it's lagging, it shows cpu usage 100%, with 37 processes. Any help is appreciated.

Just now, I was running Spybot, S and D. I was also trying to get into counter-strike. Started lagging, so I shut down counter-strike. Check the task manager, and Spybot S and D, was using 99% of my cpu. Is this normal? My old computer handled a lot more tasks, than this one, before using that much cpu power.

I see no malware but do have a few recommendations.
I would consider a different Firewall. Members on this site do not speak highly of the NVIDIA Firewall and it "might" be a source of the problem. These entries could be a problem. HijackThis will not remove these and I am not suggesting to do so without more seeking more advice. I am not familiar enough to advise on them but you can get more information here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll O10 - Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\windows\system32\nvappfilter.dll Suggestions The following are not necessarily spyware/malware, but we suggest you place a check mark next to the following entries, as these programs may be taking up system resources. Open HijackThis and select Do A System Scan Only. Place a checkmark next to these entries. O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SoundMan] SOUNDMAN.EXE (Description: System Tray icon for the Realtek AC97 Audio Sound Manager for AC97 onboard audio. Available via Start -> Settings-> Control Panel. Thanks for trying, but since you told me not to erase those things, because you are not sure, I won't do anything as of now. If anyone is sure, on which files to erase, please let me know.
