Hey guys,
I had a nasty virus on my pc...kept getting pop ups saying to buy some security sofware of somekind and apparently i had some backdoor trojan along with some other nastys,anyway AVG Free picked them up and removed it and my system seems fine,It has not picked anything else up. My question is.....is it realy gone? Ive heard good things about AVG free and it seems to have done a good job but i want to make sure. Im a Kaspersky user and never had any problems with it,No viruses ever made it to install themselves like it has here,But my sub ran out last week and i wasnt sure if i should get the KIS 2010 Package. You think i should buy KIS 2010? |

In short: No, not at this moment in time.
If you could work through the Malware Removal Guide and post the logs up, then someone in the know can tell you if the infection really is fully removed. |
