Thanks downloaded eventually

However I struggled with your site as to where to post items. As I only joined last night, may some advice on how to post items rather than threat to ban would be more suitable.

Maybe you could help me ?

I did help you Grant.

I also told you many times that you needed to ask your questions here rather than posting your problem in every other thread you can find.

Your problems get a better response if they are on their own thread as other members can read and follow the problems with you and join in as things progress.

Sorry if my threat of a ban troubles you but this is a free forum and my time is better spent helping people who take the time to read the rules and post in the correct section rather than spending it cleaning up mess left by other members.

So how did you get on?

Is the PC faster now?

Go to 'control panel' then 'add and remove programs'.

Remove any software you don't use there.

Also, as said before, Norton is bad, turning it off makes NO difference, mine and many other engineers advice is COMPLETELY uninstall it.

You need to completely uninstall Norton and obtain a better Anti Virus program like Avast (available as a download on this site).
Go here and obtain the Norton removal tool.

To get shut of Skype simple uninstall it from Add/Remove programs, it will ask that you go to the Skype website to completely uninstall it.

Read these instructions carefully Ferrari and don't go leaping off half cocked ok.
