Avast for me although I have run AVG.
I have even run Norton when I was a mere pup and didn't know any better.

use avg here, it's free and does the job reasonably well. I also like their malware app, so I figured may as well keep the two together.

And like wolfey and bm, started with norton until it let 106k trojans into my system in about 20 seconds. After I got that mess cleaned up, decided to do 2 things:

learn more about malware, and dump norton. :)

Have AVG set to run a full scan every night. Also use AVG ant malware Adaware and Asquared that I run alternately when I'm at work. use Zone alarm and a hardware firewall.
