Over the past few days, whenever I do a search in Google, or Alta Vista the search goes as expected but when I click on the link, it gets redirected to another site. I can click back to the original search and click on the link again and it will usually take me to the site I was trying to get too in the first place. Today, however, while trying to get to Mozilla's site to see if they had a cure, it took four tries. They are not all the same sites but they are all sales or information sites of one type or another.
Anyone have an idea how to get rid of this irritating problem. Better still, do you have an address where I can send a letter bomb to the developer? Just kidding, but this is a little irritating. I have used AVG to scan my system and it did not find anything. I also used HP's laptop system scan (the infected computer is an HP Laptop) but as expected it found no problems. |
