Hello,
Hopefuly someone here can help me. Last week I started getting this pop-up from norton (Cap attached).I click it and it does nothing. What can I do to make it go away?

Also I want to delete Norton and download something new.What do you suggest? something free and good.

Default Having Problems

Spybot is available in the downloads section.

You need to run a spyware scan, clean the PC but also include the log file here.

Then get hijackthis, run it and post the log file here also.

Alright,download Spybot and it found and it found 58 problems.

Yeah, that popup you are getting isn't from norton. It's spyware making you download a rogue spyware program that could cripple your hard disk with ads.

Also download Ad-Aware from the downloads and do a full scan.
Ensure it's up to date.

As for Anti-Virus, try Avast, alot of people on here recommend it, i haven' tried it myself (i have nod32) and Avast is free.

Don't go deleting anti virus programs until you are free of what virus you have. They could leave remnants and be even harder to track down and remove.
