| OK we will get rid of it then. I don't know if you have deleted Combofix yet. If so Please download Combofix by sUBs. Place it on your Desktop. combofix.exe Do not run Combofix. Just follow the rest of the steps. Delete these files/folders, as follows: * Open notepad (click Start>Run>type Notepad>click OK) and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it (all except the word QUOTE):
* Then drag the CFScript (hold the left mouse button while dragging the file) and drop it (release the left mouse button) into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below. Important: Perform this instruction carefully! ![]() * ComboFix will begin to execute, just follow the prompts. After reboot (in case it asks to reboot), it shall produce a log for you. Post that log (Combofix.txt) in your next reply. Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to hang. |

| Counterspy will run out in 15 days so get rid of it when you feel like it. The others I also have. I will run a different one every 3 or 4 days. Be sure to check for updates manually on Spywareblaster. It does not auto update. Orrrr.........you can uninstall it and use Comodo BOClean I have begun using BOClean and am liking not having to check for updates like on Spywareblaster. No problem on the help. I am just glad we finally figured it out. If I ever run across this again I will know what to do. |
