i keep getting this message every time i try to update avg i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but still get the same message please see attachment

it tells me A.bin file missing

It was caused by a corrupted download file .... it's meant to be sorted out now, according to their forum by a new update.

If not, this should work :

1) go to http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download-update
2) make a directory on your desktop called AVG
3) download AVI: 270.6.4
4) download IAVI: / 1616
5) move files to the AVG directory you made
6) launch AVG
7) select tools -> update from directory
8) select the AVG directory as the update source
