HiJack This! Help!

Hey,

I've been having some big problems with my computer lately and was referred onto this website by a friend for some help.

Lately whenever i turn the computer on, i am greeted at the desktop by error messages saying windows explorer has experienced some difficulties and needs to shutdown.

Whilst at other times, the same error is displayed for internet explorer causing the internet to shutdown automatically and causing the computer to restart.
Hopefully somebody could offer some help on the topic.

Out of interest your linking to smilies on another well known tech help forum, so why not get help there?

Put a tick next to that entry and click "fix checked".

Actually the same thread has been started there also.

I do not mind helping but you will need to close out the other thread and any others you have started on this before I will help.

Not being insensitive, it is just too time consuming and multiple help threads makes things worse.
