are they both up to date? You might also try running them by first starting up your computer in safe mode.

I had the same problem for the last two days and now my pc is working properly. I just restored the system. If your using windows, do the same. Try it. Just remember when ur computer was working properly and go to that date. Restore your system. Hope this works coz it worked for me.

To help you isolate the cause, open Task Manager (right-click on your taskbar at the bottom and select Task Manager) and watch your processor and memory usage. Inside Task Manager, click the Performance tab. The top line of green & black graphs show how much of your processor is being used. The second line of graphs show how much memory is being used.Watch both of these graphs as your computer starts to slow. Notice which of these, if either, are high. It's okay for your processor to spike up to 70%, 80%, even 100% occasionally, but it shouldn't stay there. If the processor usage stays way up, you've got a problem with a program overworking your processor. As for memory, a typical computer today just running with necessary startup files and some antivirus program running, should use between 225 and 250MBs of memory. If your's is running significantly higher, then there's a problem here. Also, check below the green graphs and to the right in the box labeled Physical Memory. The Total line shows you how much memory you have installed. Mine says 1047276, which is roughly 1GB (1047 megabytes and change). Check what your's is. If your memory usage equals or exceeds the total amount of memory installed in your computer, that's a problem. If that's the case, you'll want to look at what's running and see what programs you can close to free up memory. My suggestion is that your problem isn't necessarily spyware/adware running. It could be caused by too many "good" programs running. Run too many programs, and your computer is locking up on you. Unless you regularly monitor and cleanup your running programs, you'll most likely find many programs running, like Java Updater, Quicktime, iPod Helper, Adobe Acrobat Speed Launch, and many more programs that you don't need running all the time. Post back if you think this might be your problem.

sounds like you have a virus.go here...http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.htmland download hijackthis.install it, run it, look at everything listed. google each line to determine what it is. if you can't figure out what is malevolent and what isn't, then copy and paste the results in an email to me.do you have antivirus software?if no, go to here...http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/t...ersions.phpand download the trial version of KAV 6.0install it and then reboot and run it in safe mode
