My knowledge of viruses and spyware and things is limited, so I may need help. Anyway, I think I may have given myself a virus. Now when I try to open a folder I get a white window, I can't move the window, and I end up having to alt+ctrl+del it (this includes My Documents, My Computer and Control Panel).

Another problem I seem to have is that there are no special icons, I'll show you what I mean:
And I can't move the icons either.

PS. I can't go back to a restore point.

Have your read the sticky in this forum, the guide is there for a reason and without the logs that get produced at the end it is impossible to say if you are infected or not.
