Welcome to TCF. I need a little more information. Is this the only problem you are having? Have you ran any Virus/Spyware scans? If so which ones.

Go into add/remove programs and see if anything is there that shouldn't be and un-install it. Like toolbars etc. Then run CCleaner. Use the default options. If you do not have CCleaner please install it by clicking Here. Once CCleaner is open use the default options and click Analyze and it will show a log of what will be removed. Next click Run Cleaner to remove everything. Next on the upper left of CCleaner select the Registry/Issues tab. Next click Scan For Issues. Next click Fix selected issues. It will prompt you to make a backup. For the first run I would suggest doing so. If you don't have Spybot Search & Destroy please download it Here. * Install Spybot. By default it should install into C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy. * The first time you run it, allow it to create a backup of your registry when prompted. This will take a few minutes to complete. * Click on "Search for Updates". * If any updates are found, place a check mark next to each and click on "Download Updates". * Look for the Immunize tab in Spybot and click on it to imunize. * Do not use the Teatimer function. * Click on "Search & Destroy" > "Check for Problems". * If any problems are found, place a checkmark next to them and click on "Fix Selected Problems." Let me know if Spybot found anything.

OK, but that didn't sound like it would be an easy fix. Where there is one there are often others. Feel free to come back if needed. ![]() Last edited by evilfantasy : 3rd Sep 2007 at 11:56 AM.
