OK, je semble avoir pris une forme de malware qui a désactivé l'option de changement automatique des mises à jour, laissant permanantly éteint.

Yup .. qui a été la première chose que j'ai vérifié, en pensant qu'il avait obtenu changé. Il en est de même de l'autre compte administrateur ainsi.

Avez-vous des programmes de sécurité installés mai qu'il n'est plus fonctionnel. xp-Antispy?

Vous pouvez aller à la clé de registre et modifier la valeur par défaut et réactiver manuellement.

Allez dans Démarrer> Exécuter, tapez regedit et cliquez sur OK
Trouver la clé:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ au
Dans le volet droit, recherchez une clé nommée noautoupdate
Modifiez la valeur de 1 à 0

Redémarrer et voir si elle a changé.

Aller à http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp.htm aller à la section réglages et d'obtenir le tweak appelé "Windows Update grisées - Restauration".
