| I'm hearing advertisements in the background with no browsers running and no pop-ups. iexplore.exe and msn_sl.exe show up in my task manager. iexplore uses about 40k memory and msn_sl.exe uses about 6k memory. Ending the processes ends the advertisements, but a few minutes later they'll come back. I've tried scanning with numerous different anti-virus software, but none of them detected anything other than tracking cookies. I'm used to playing games on my computer, such as Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3, but currently I can't play due to the fact that my screen will minimize when one of the advertisements starts playing in the background. It's really annoying, and I'd like to get rid of the virus causing this. |

| Does adding "ugo.com" to Internet Explorer's banned site list make it shut up?

| I added "ugo.com" to the restricted site's list, but that doesn't stop iexplore.exe and msn_sl.exe from running in the background every few minutes. I have to continously end the processes to keep them from eating up all of my processing power and memory, and to keep from hearing advertisements. |
