Default Iexplore.exe is Running in the Background, Music and Ads Are Playing Over My Speakers

Hi,

Thank you for walking me thru the solution to this problem.

When I attempt to run Secunia Software Inspector I get the following message:
"Warning: Your system does not appear to have Sun Java installed. Sun Java is required for the Secunia Online Software Inspector to work. You should consider downloading the latest version of Sun Java from http://www.java.com/ before continuing. Press "OK" to proceed anyway."

I press OK and then OK on another Java warning message and nothing happens. Here is the IE details:

Line: 158
Char: 2
Error: Object does not support this property or method
Code:0
URL: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_sca...ine/?task=load

Please advise.

Thank you.

Create An Uninstall List
  • Start HijackThis
  • Click on the Open the Misc Tools section
  • Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
  • Click on the Save list button and specify where you would like to save this file and click Save.
    • When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file.
  • Copy and paste that list in your reply.

I'm not sure why it isn't loading.

Try enabling Java in your browser. http://www.java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml

Hi,

I was guided to this website to test if Java is working on my computer:
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml

"If you can see the dancing Duke logo image animated in the applet above, then Java is functioning correctly."

There was no dancing image, just a red "X" in the upper left hand corner of the page.

Please advise.

Thanks again.

Did you do any of this?

If your applet is not displaying properly, please check these additional configurations.
  1. Enable Java through your Web browser
  2. Enable Java through the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
  3. Clearing your Web Browser Cache
If you are unable to perform any of the steps above due to an error, please reinstall Java.

Download and installation instructions
