I'm sorry for bumping an older topic, but I just wanted to say thank you for answering this question.

I've searched ways on how to properly remove this virus/spyware/whatever from my computer and have failed plenty of times.

This was the first, most straight forward guide on how to remove it and keep it GONE. Not to mention, it help me get rid of some other unwanted modifications and such on my computer.

So, thanks again! Hope this stays on the search engines for other people to stumble upon!

Moved to a new topic. You should post whatever logs you have especially the combofix log. It can be found in C:\combofix.txt
