I deleted mirc months ago from my computer but even than I hardly ever used it

and I dont think my computer is running the best speed wise, plus my explorer has frozen once or twice in the past few days and also I'm still getting that microsoft installation pop up thing pretty much every time I open anything, even my internet explorer...It only started showing around when my CA Security was expired for a few days

I've attached a picture of it if you arent sure what I'm talking about

Still the same problem. Actually I think the Microsoft thing has become morefrequent???

I've noticed a lot of updates have failed through 'Windows Update', I've added a screen shot of the ones that have failed to install...one of them is "Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3)" which I just tried installing

You may want to print this out for reference or copy it into a Notepad file then save it to your Desktop. Internet Explorer needs to be closed.

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

2. Click Start > Run then type REGSVR32 ATL.DLL in the open box and click OK

Note: There is a space between REGSVR32 and ATL.DLL

3. Do the same with each of the below. (one at a time)
  • REGSVR32 MSXML3.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUAUENG1.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUCLTUI.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL
  • REGSVR32 WUWEB.DLL
  • REGSVR32 QMGR.DLL
  • REGSVR32 QMGRPRXY.DLL
  • REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL

Restart the computer when complete.

Try running the updates again.
