Download ComboFix© by sUBs from one of the below links. Be sure top save it to the Desktop.

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your Desktop

Close any open Web browsers. (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) before starting ComboFix.

Temporarily disable your antivirus, and any antispyware real time protection before performing a scan. Click this link to see a list of security programs that should be disabled and how to disable them.

Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished ComboFix will produce a log for you.
Post the ComboFix log in your next reply.

Important: Do not mouseclick ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Remember to re-enable your antivirus and antispyware protection when ComboFix is complete.

I am so sorry. I am having difficulty saving this file to the desktop. As soon as i click Save, it vanishes and then i can't find it! I have looked everywhere but it does not show up. I have tried rebooting but the same result. I really apologise for my ignorance re these things.

Before Saving it to Desktop, please rename it to something like 123.exe and see if it will save then.

Do i click on Run or Save please? I have been doing the latter.

Choose Save.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:
   • Tools->Options->Main tab
   • Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".
2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:
   
   
   
   
3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
5. Close any open browsers.
6. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
