Hi, Can anyone tell me if I got the right info from AOL about McAfee. Laptop (running Vista on broadband) is getting cut off all the time on AOL -- because of McAfee, they say. And apparently it is not ok to take McAfee out. But they haven't given any solutions. It's so frustrating. Help! Marie

ok, ignore them aol people for a start because they basiclly suck! download another antivirus (if you can) like avg free, after that dissconnect from the internet, then disble and uninstall mcafee, then restart your pc, then install your antivirus that you just downloaded, then restart your pc again and now it might work.

Many thanks. Never had much faith in AOL at the best of times. How they keep going is beyond me, and why I keep with them is ever more mind boggling. I must have a faulty CPU, lol. Big thank you again for your help!
