After clicking next to browser and pressing Ctrl+V is the file to appear in the window . If so it is not appearing for me. The browser window is blank. What am I doing wrong

Just go to VirusTotal and browse to the file and double click it to enter it.
You might need to enable viewing of hidden files and folders to find it. Enable viewing of hidden system files & folders XP Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab:

Pc is running about the same I take it it is the age 9 years and still going.

Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop. Double-click TFC.exe to run it. Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator TFC will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin. * Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process. * Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. * Please let TFC run uninterrupted until it is finished. Sorry for not getting back to you. Found a way to get the scanner to run and found some malware that the scanner removed. Now everything seem to be working fine. Thanks
