This problem could be related to a virus, do you have effective anti-virus software running regular scans on the system ?

The status of your anti virus can often be found on the task bar.

By double clicking on the icon it should open in a window informing you of the current status of the software and the last scan date.

i recommned scanning the system again to look for virus's

I have scanned the system and the anti-virus software has found 3 new threats to the system. the computer runs a lot better now and is a lot faster.

Thanks very much.

I would run through our malware guide, lots of stuff hides pretty well from most anti-virus scanning software.

try booting in safe mode by holding F8 while booting and then select safe mode.
