...access my computer. How can I find & eliminate the problem? I keep getting the following Zone Alarm Security Alert:"ProtectedThe firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (NetBIOS Session) from 76.80.22.13 (TCP Port 1602)[TCP Flags: S]."They always come in pairs of 2, and so long as my computer is on (I have a cable modem, so it's always connected to the Internet), I keep getting these messages. At times they come so fast I can't get work done because they keep popping up every couple of minutes. Other times, it's a few hours.I've tried Spybot Search & Destroy, AdAware, Spyware Doctor, TweakNow RegCleaner, and didn't see anything strange in HiJack This. For some reason, my computer (it's using Windows 2000), won't use TrendMicro's online virus scan (keeps restarting the scan), so that's been no help (even switching kernels).I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of these damned alerts, and they've been going on for a few weeks now no matter what I do. Please, any suggestions to fix it would be appreciated! While the problem has been going on for a while, it hasn't been since I installed the firewall. It's been much more recent. So it's not just a configuratio9n problem with the firewall (unlesss someone knows something I don't as to why it only more recently started doing it and not when I installed and configured the firewall).I know I can turn off the alert, but since it's a more recent problem, I'd rather get to the root of the problem, not just hide the symptoms.

The issue you are facing might be because the firewall is meant to monitor all the incoming and outgoing connections. Since you are connected through an ISP, your computer constantly tries to connect to your ISP server. This means that there is constant data being sent from your computer to the ISP's servers be it to maintain the connection or may be leasing a new IP address. This makes the firewall warn you each time the connection is made. You need to configure the firewall so as to ignore the particular IP address.

The alerts have nothing to do with spyware or viruses. It is all in how you have your firewall configured to alert. I would try the Zone Alarm users forum for additional assistance.

When the zone alarm security Alert box come`s up there should be a white box. And next to that box it will say Don`t show this dialog again. Put a check in that box and push the ok button box at the bottom. And the Alert should not come up any more. And zone Alarm will still be working to protect your computer. I hope this can help you.
