...red color,how could I fix it? Firewall and virus protection is in active and during start up it gives a messages to pay attention to it,its in red color.I thougt it is expired already. I tried to download other protection it become green for 2day only,after that it return to red again including the one that I installed its free trial.Now I subcrive to anoyher software co. installed it but still the same.

It sounds like it expired already unistall it and buy a new pack.but first try to find some updates to it if none then its expired

There could be couple of issues here:1. Before you install any AntiVirus or Firewall, make sure that the older one is uninstalled, system is restarted. otherwise it could lead to conflicts that you are facing now. You can get Google pack that has Norton Security scan subscription free for 6 months2. Microsoft Security Center that shows these alerts may not be able to access the third-party AntiVirus and Firewall settings as some of the vendors encrypt the files to prevent unauthorised access. In a way this could be false alert.Or you can even run the online virus scan to remove any infection that is currently affecting your system, incase any of the security software you have installed is not working (PS: Some viruses/worms prevent you from accessing the Security software vendor website like Symantec.com or Mcaffee.com)Regards,Prax

There are plenty of free firewalls and anti-virus programs on the web. And because they are free doesn't mean they are not good. Go to 'Add/Remove Programs in Windows and do away with the nonsense you are putting up with. Do a Yahoo! search as what is out there, remember, free. OK? Good luck to you my friend !

you must uninstall the old anti virus and firewall before you install a new one
