Need Help---Email damaged by virus

Email problems began 7 or 8 days ago very suddenly on both my Yahoo and Msn emails. The operating strip containing fonts, color, Bold, Italics, indents has disappeared. Also, no copies of past emails are attached when i reply or forward emails; No automatic signature, etc. Also, there is a very loud noise when I click on things with my mouse---or whenever an incoming email is announced. I have tried numerous anti virus programs to clean system, i.e. Hijack this with no success. I am attaching latest Hijack this log. (I use Internet Exployer as browser.) Need your help FAST!

I contacted ATT Yahoo to see if they could assist in solving this problem. Got a very senior teck finally. He had me remove tempory files and cookies. No improvement. I then gave him permission to get on my computer to see what was happening . When he pulled up my ATT Yahoo email page he found it in perfect shape---the font, color, Bold, Ital, ect strip was there. Signature was in proper form---past email were attached to new email, etc. He got no loud noise when he clicked mouse, none of the problems I am experiencing are present on his screen. He comes to the conclusion that the problem is not with ATT Yaahoo---but on my computer.

Welcome to Computer Juice.

First:

You need to uninstall either Avast! or AVG antivirus. You only need one AV, having two will cause system instability, errors and crashes. Please uninstall one now.

Question:

Is either AVG-Antispyware or SpySweeper a paid or free/trial version? If SpySweeper is not paid for please uninstall it now. If it is paid for then shut down the AVG-Antispyware Real-Time protection. There should be only one real-time antispyware protection running at any time.

If you need help in turning either of these off then see this post

Remove Malware:

Download ViewpointKiller

Unzip the program and all of the contents of ViewpointKiller.zip to a location such as your desktop.
Double click the ViewpointKiller icon to run ViewpointKiller.exe.
Select the File menu, and select Check to see if you have Viewpoint installed.
If ViewpointKiller indicates that any of the Viewpoint variants are installed, select the proper Kill option in the File menu.

Follow the prompts and instructions very carefully, answering Yes or No depending on which option you are most comfortable with.
The MsConfig instructions are very important, so be sure to read them carefully.

Note: When done with ViewpointKiller right click and delete all files that were unzipped.

Combofix:

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
Post that log back here.

Be sure to restart the computer.

From the Desktop double click My Computer.

Now find and delete these red Files and blue Folders. (delete the file first)

Don't understand "From the Desktop double click My Computer". Can you walk me through the process a bit? Do I come at this from the Start Menu, Control Panel----??? Don't understand term Desktop here.

The Desktop is where all of the Icons are and there is wallpaper as the background. There is an Icon called My Computer.

Then double click C:\
Then look for Program Files
Then Common Files
and so on.

There is no My Computer icon on my Desktop. I have 70 other icons on the Desktop covering every other fuction---EXCEPT MY COMPUTER. Now what do I do?

Download FileASSASSIN and save to your desktop (this tool is compatible with Win 2000/NT/XP/Vista only).

Double click fa-setup and let it install to the default location.
Open the folder and double-click on FileASSASSIN.exe.
Copy the below file path and paste it into FileASSASSINs window.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Viewpoint\Toolbar Runtime\3.6.0\FotomatDeviceConnect.exe

Select a removal method. Start with the default "Attempt FileASSASSIN's method of file removal"
Click delete and the removal process will begin.
If that did not work, start the program again, select the file(s) the same way as before and this time check "Use delete on reboot function from windows."

Ran File Assassin as you said---and file was deleted. As far as I can tell there has been no change in the computer problems.

It's possible they could have been corrupted. Uninstall them and then reinstall them fresh.
