I am setting up a friends new laptop. It comes with a 30 day trial of McAfee. I gather I should get rid of it immediately and install either Avast or AVG?

It's also rather buggy and not much cop at removing viruses.

@mcbee : Well, I wouldn't recommend using a freeware antivirus. Personally, I don't want to use them, because you don't have as much support as a paid antivirus.

I would recommend Panda Internet Security 2007.

And no, I don't have any shares or anything.

I just feel that Panda is a good antivirus and I'm satisfied with it now for years.

In the beginning that I used it, it caused some problems, but now I don't experience any problems with it.

If you mention Panda once more I'm going to ban you, I'm fed up reading it.

11 Posts and everyone about Panda this Panda that, it's basically spam and I won't stand for it.

Thanks.
