| I tried to do that months ago and I was told that I couldn't as I have STUPID vista, and IE7 is integrated into it. I tried your other way of uninstalling it, but the thing you said to copy and paste wasn't recognized. Any other way to uninstall it? Cheers, Curly |

| No, I wasn't thinking when I suggested that. Try the Smitfraud again. This time right click it and select to run as administrator. Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop. Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop. Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log in your next reply. Note: process.exe ( which is used by SmitFraudFIx ) is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. http://www.beyondlogic.org/consultin...rocessutil.htm |

| Time to do some cleanup and secure the work you have done.
![]()
If using Vista Right-Click OTMoveIt and choose Run as administrator 2. Click on the CleanUp! button. 3. OTMoveIt2 will download a list from the Internet, if your firewall or other defensive programs alerts you, allow it access. 4. Click YES at the next prompt (list downloaded, Do you want to begin cleanup process?)
