Let me tell you...mobile phone viruses are common here in the Philippines and my phone is infected with one.

Does anyone have any advice in removing it... Do I need Norton anti virus for my mobile?

PC version of Norton Antivirus cannot detect mobile phone viruses. There may be versions of antivirus programs created specifically for mobile phones, but to my knowledge Symantec / Norton does not have such a version yet. Overall, there have been very few cases of mobile phone viruses and most of them appeared to be hoaxes or malware but not real viruses.
