| Let me tell you...mobile phone viruses are common here in the Philippines and my phone is infected with one. Does anyone have any advice in removing it... Do I need Norton anti virus for my mobile? Last edited by Dave Hybrid : 26th Aug 2008 at 12:42 PM. |

| PC version of Norton Antivirus cannot detect mobile phone viruses. There may be versions of antivirus programs created specifically for mobile phones, but to my knowledge Symantec / Norton does not have such a version yet. Overall, there have been very few cases of mobile phone viruses and most of them appeared to be hoaxes or malware but not real viruses. |
