Patch Tuesday - Microsoft releases six critical patches

This month's "Patch Tuesday" did not include a patch that had been promised in Microsoft's advance notification for February 2008. Microsoft could not be reached for comment at the time of writing to say why the patch had not been included.

I got 9 via critical updates and 2 more via custom updates after reading this message!

Why do they call it patch tuesday when i always get the updates on wednesday =/.

They are released on the second tuesday of the month. Automatic updates may not get them until late in the day. So with time zones it could take 12 to 24 hours.
