| Like an idiot, I downloaded BitTorrent and opened myself up to something. At startup, I got this error: Error in C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Local\Temp\lifwwnl.dll .....that is until I went in and restricted it from StartUp and deleted it in that folder. But, everytime I go to Windows > My Computer.....the desktop apps disappear. So, I am not able to into my computer. UpDate: I have run a lot of programs that I have found recommended in these forums...these include CCleaner, SpyBot, Ad-Aware, SUPERAntispyware, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, etc. and have restored my computer to functionality. It is still a bit sluggish and everytime I boot up my computer, I get 4 RunDLL errors as follows: Error loading C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Local\Temp\krvhpemm.dll Error loading C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Local\Temp\qeyowpxb.dll Error loading C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Local\Temp\ligfwwnl.dll Error loading C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Local\Temp\ddaaw.dll Also, it always says at startup: Windows has blocked some startup programs. When I open MSCONFIG it doesn't look like anything is blocked. And, in my Task Manager, under processes, there is a program running called btdna.exe ....which I know has something to do with BitTorrent. I have uninstalled this program, yet this lil devil keeps working. How can I stop it? Here is my new HiJack This: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 9:26:52 AM, on 3/1/2008 Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16609) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exe C:\Windows\System32\WLTRAY.EXE C:\Windows\sttray.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 14\pccguide.exe C:\Program Files\Dell\MediaDirect\PCMService.exe C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\jusched.exe C:\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\RMTray.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LComMgr\Communications_Helper.exe C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Acrobat\acrotray.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe C:\Program Files\Napster\napster.exe C:\Program Files\Logitech\QuickCam\Quickcam.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe C:\Program Files\DellSupport\DSAgnt.exe C:\Windows\ehome\ehtray.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnscfg.exe C:\Users\Bonz\AppData\Roaming\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe C:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exe C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exe C:\Users\Bonz\Program Files\DNA\btdna.exe C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe C:\Program Files\Digital Line Detect\DLG.exe C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\LogitechDesktopMessenger .exe C:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\LogiShrd\LVCOMSER\LVComSer.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\CLI.EXE C:\Windows\ehome\ehmsas.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logishrd\LQCVFX\COCIManager.exe C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\CLI.exe C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\CLI.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe C:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe R1 - | Everything looks fine now. You can have Hijackthis fix this one entry. O4 - Global Startup: QuickSet.lnk = ? You will want to do a few cleanup steps to make sure everything stays the way it is now. 1. Double click OTMoveIt2.exe to launch it. Vista users right click and choose Run As Administrator 2. Click on the CleanUp! button. 3. OTMoveIt2 will download a list from the Internet, if your firewall or other defensive programs alerts you, allow it access. 4. Click YES at the next prompt (list downloaded, Do you want to begin cleanup process?)
Download CCleaner
Toggle system restore to remove infected restore points.

| It is the least I could do. If I would have had to get a computer repairman in here to fix this machine, it would have cost me much more. Everything I did to fix my computer, I learned from your forum. I posted to 3 other forums too a few days before I posted here and no one has ever replied to those posts. I realize forums like this are swamped with people needing help. I just wanted to let you all know how appreciated you truly are. |
