I can't go on any games at school now. Anything with the word game in it is a automatically banned and if we find a game site that works as soon as we leave it it gets blocked.:( My friend said about defilter but the school blocks them as well ( at least all the ones I've tried), my only idea is to make my own site without the word game in it but it'll probably get banned. Please help, someone!

| The school admin has blocked all attempts to access games sites and so they should.

Have you ever tried using a proxy? I know that some schools also do block those, but if you can find one that they haven't blocked, then you should be able to get in I believe. Don't count on using the same proxy over and over though, as it will probably be found and blocked the next day :) Last edited by Slacker : 31-07-2007 at 04:09 PM.

Most school blocking systems are based on blocking words in urls or whole urls (at least in my area), a simple way to get around this is just typing the ip of the site directly into the firefox or ie url area. This can be found by going to start>run>cmd and typing in ping.exe then the site name. You should get a response with a set of numbers in it, type those numbers in and there you go.

Ive got a way that always works. But keep it underraps. The first way is the obvious. 1. Translate the game page through google translation . If that doesnt work go to calculator ,then help ,then help topics then right click on the top of the window, then jump to url. Type the game page in there.. That should work. :) :) :) :) :)

my school did that to, I didn't mind thought because I don't play online games. Everyone that did play online games was trying to download FireFox because no site was blocked on FireFox but every site with the word FireFox was blocked so they could not download it. It was funny seeing them trying to get it when not realising it it was already installed on the schools computer, all they had to do was open dreamweaver save a basic blank page and preview it in FireFox lol.

What games do u play flash games? simple solution download getflash on your home pc and download all the flash games you wish to play put it on a flash drive and put it on your school pc.. Or the other option is but i donno if this will work but hey no harm in trying.. what you do is at the login screen type in default and no password or it could be adminstrator no password.. if it works you have administrator privilages... i did this on my school computers to config the firewall so we could play age of empires 2 and quake 3 against each other.. there are other ways i donno if they will work. They worked for me go local disc C:>Documents and Settings and then you can see all the users if there are teachers accounts get there login name and try 12345 for password or just type the username as a password might work donno worked for me...

Schools, well mine does anyways, have monitoring software to stop .exe, .mp3 etc files being brought on flash drives (you're stuck if you're using your MP3 player as file storage too), so you can't run any programs or stuff.

Using a proxy will work. When I was in school i used hidemyip platinum until one day the computer teacher somehow found out and banned my account for 2 months (wich is incredibly stupid cause i couldnt use it in computer class either) but then i found his laptop, wich had his username and password printed on a sticker on it. Had lotsa fun with that ;)
