My PC takes forever to boot up and shut down. I get lots of msgs saying "programme not responding" I get msgs saying
" your pc has recovered from a serious problem" Plus rundll msgs, cant remember what that one said. I have been advised to download "COMBOFIX" but it seems very complicated, and as my pc knowledge is very limited, I dont want to bite of more than I can chew.

You should only run ComboFix if someone who is trained to use it says to.

If you work through our Malware Removal Guide and post the logs we can see what's going on and if it's malware or not.

Thanks for replying. As explained, I have very limited PC knowledge, and lack confidence when it comes to getting involved to deep with my PC. I have looked at the malware advice you sent, and not too sure if I could manage, it appears to be a bit technical. What do you think? Could someone without technical knowledge manage what you suggest?

If you read it, it's designed step by step what you need to do.

I can make it easier and post just what you need to do here so you aren't seeing anything more than needed. Just be sure to post the logs.
