Default Slow computer may be virus?

Just an update. When I type this:
“%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove
into run, it says cannot find 'C:\Program' make sure you typed it correctly etc. The Kaspersky scan is taking very long though. Scanning for almost 3 hours and still not done.

Well there is no malware and Bonjour got there and is in the services. How it got there and why it keeps loading is beyond me at this point.

Try uninstalling QuickTime and then fixing the 023 entry with HijackThis and see if it works.

----------

1. Double click OTMoveIt2.exe to launch it.
If using Vista Right-Click OTMoveIt and choose Run As Administrator
2. Click on the CleanUp! button.
3. OTMoveIt2 will download a list from the Internet, if your firewall or other defensive programs alerts you, allow it access.
4. Click YES at the next prompt (list downloaded, Do you want to begin cleanup process?)
  • When finished exit out of OTMoveIt2

You can also delete any other logs or specialized tools we used.

Not sure what else to do.

Well somewhere in the process it got removed. It's not in HijackThis or services.msc. Computer definitely seems faster than before. Thanks. Did the OTMoveIt2 thing anyway just for the sake of it. Would give some rep but it says I must spread some around.
