Default Some advice needed on Anti-Spyware and Firewalls.

Hi guys,

I know that you are bombarded with questions just like this on this forum but I just wanted a quick opinion.

Can you tell me what is the best anti-spyware, adware etc. removal program there is, with ease of use being a priority. I've been using SpyBot Search and Destroy but to be honest I dont get along with it that well, a friend asked me to reccomend him one and i didnt want to advise him on one that is quite tricky to use (well I thought it was, maybe i just beed to get used to it).

Also, without starting too much of a debate ...

I have a BT Home Hub, i know this has a hardware firewall installed and I'm on a computer that doesn't use wireless. Is it still a good idea to have a software one installed, if so I have Window's Firewall is up and running and is that suffiecent/neccesary?

Sorry the quick bit of advice turned into a slightly longer comment!

Default Some advice needed on Anti-Spyware and Firewalls.

Using SUPERAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware both would be the preferred method. No single program is sufficient as each company will have different malware definitions in the database.

As for real time spyware protection the free versions of those two it is not included. You have to purchase one or the other for that. But as far as on demand scanners they are top of the line. Computer Juice even has a deal with SUPERAntiSpyware that our members get a 20% discount for using our link. SUPERAntiSpyware Pro 4.0 - 20% Off - Free Trial Download Although you can still get the free version so no worries, we aren't trying to force you into a sale!

Download MalwareBytes here. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php Just clisk Download for the free version.

Download SUPERAntiSpyware here. http://www.majorgeeks.com/SUPERAntiSpyware_d5116.html
