I went to update my Spybot last night and it downloaded a complete new version, 1.62. So when I run this, will it install over the old Spybot or should i uninstall the old one first and THEN run this one?

LOL like a dummy I tried to uninstall the old Spybot while it was still running. I noodled through thta mess though. But i have another quick question. When i tried to install the 1.62 version I kept getting a message, "The server has timed out or taken too long to reply." This happened several times in a row. I quit trying and wentr to Sam's to get some stuff and tried again when I got back and it installed flawlessly (even though I forgot to turn my AV off this time lol). Was that message perhaps because of high volume at the SPybot site, some sort of glitch in my internet, or just "one of them things that happens sometimes?"

ANyway, I got this computer updated just three more left.........

I think the Spybot installer "phones home" so it could have been their servers. You can usually install them over of one another but I had a weird error doing that once with Spybot so I now always uninstall the old version first.
