I'm a bit of a computer noob but I think that if you compressed the file or the virus or W/E it might stop it from hurting your PC, I will expand/extract on my own computer

This isn't something I want happening here. We don't know who you are or what you might really be wanting to do with these virus "samples."

If you want a good antivirus choose one of the following. They are all highly effective.

Firewalls.

1) Comodo (Uncheck during installation "Install Comodo SafeSurf..", Make Comodo my default search provider" and "Make Comodo Search my homepage" if you choose this one)
2) Online Armor
3) Sunbelt/Kerio
4) Agnitum
5) PC Tools Firewall Plus

Antivirus.

1) Avast! Home Free Edition
2) AVG Free Edition
3) Avira AntiVir Personal
4) Comodo Antivirus
5) PC Tools AntiVirus Free Edition
