Boy all this help form panda. But I am sorry to say I will find something else. For two reason .
One if I would not of said anything here we would not see Panda sending out all this help.
That leads me to there could be a small problem panda dose not wont everyone to know about.
Second like others here I don't seem to think that you are here for the tech support more like (example well if you purchase this you will not have the problem) .
Here is what I have seen in the last three years if like me you use panda for home computers you may or may not recive help But if you are a corp. with a promblem you have 24/7 .
And one last thing I would guess that viruses also take Mondays and Holidays off ya right.

I think you don't realize someone probably went out of their way and pointed them here for your benefit.

hopthwoks, I wish I had an alert of all the forums that people ask questions in to help them with issues of Panda. I and the other Panda rep in here do this for a few reasons.

Proactive support to help with the software we support

We do this on our own time off of work hours to help people in different communities.

We do this cause we like to help people, we understand our product and we believe in the software that we support trying to help others that are having issues.

I would be happy to still assist you if you would like, but don't want you to think that I am forcing you to take my help.

I myself being an active forum member to allot of great websites find it rare to see the actual employees of a software company doing something like this on their own time.

Well tryed contacting Panda Security and still waiting got no reply. The problem is the Icon turns off or gose gray .nothing will turn it back on . open panda and anti-virus is red everything else is green.
Right now I don't have the money to upgrade Panda. I have 25 days left I would think it should still work until then.
went in and clicked settins to see what was allowed in firewall protection I know at one time panda was listed but not now.

Hello,

Please answer the following questions that were previously asked in the thread

1. If you go to START > RUN > Type SERVICES.MSC and look at the Panda services are they all running or do you see some of them turned off?

2. What version and year of Panda are you running?

Hello again!,

12.00.00 is the older version of the Platinum Internet Security 2008. There is a newer version that you are able to download for free on the website from your downloads for clients. You will need your username and password to access this download area.

http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeuse...a=particulares

First you would uninstall the earlier version from your system and then download and install the latest version which is 12.01.00. This may correct the issue that you are having.

If this does not solve the issue then privately you could give me your client number and I could upgrade your account to a 2009 product if needed.
