Default Virtumonde.dll, vundo here is my hijack log...

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM)
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to the following:
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

----------

Now run a new HijackThis scan and post the log.

Default Virtumonde.dll, vundo here is my hijack log...

Disable Windows Defender

We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
  • Open Windows Defender
  • Click on Tools, General Settings
  • Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended)
  • After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

----------

Open HijackThis and select Do a system scan only.

Place a check mark next to the following entries: (if there)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {04F27F39-1C1B-4A4F-8B5A-A531E364B7A6} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {12637832-85DB-4C63-B9D6-12B3E50A52C9} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {2504b4df-fd95-47a5-b804-b047829925c0} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {41E299D0-5CFF-4705-A8AD-67B02579661C} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {C089CFFD-5CAA-4DA6-BC8B-39965E47AAF9} - (no file)
  • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D7C82C77-9CF6-4513-826E-B9B7ACDC4DB9} - (no file)
  • O18 - Protocol: linkscanner - {F274614C-63F8-47D5-A4D1-FBDDE494F8D1} - (no file)
  • O20 - AppInit_DLLs: avgrsstx.dll zlpxgp.dll fgdygo.dll
  • O20 - Winlogon Notify: awtuutTk - awtuutTk.dll (file missing)
Important: Close all windows except for HijackThis and then click Fix checked.

Exit HijackThis and restart the computer to register the changes made by HijackThis.

----------

Download ComboFix by sUBs from one of the below links. Be sure top save it to the Desktop.

Link #1
Link #2

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your Desktop

Close any open Web browsers. (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) before starting ComboFix.

Temporarily disable your antivirus, and any antispyware real time protection before performing a scan. Click this link to see a list of security programs that should be disabled and how to disable them. (McAfee might not turn completely off. just run ComboFix anyway and allow it to run if anything tries to block it.)

Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished ComboFix will produce a log for you.
Post the ComboFix log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.

Important: Do not mouseclick ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Remember to re-enable your antivirus and antispyware protection when ComboFix is complete.

Default Virtumonde.dll, vundo here is my hijack log...

Everything looks fine now. What problems are you still having?

----------

Download CCleaner Slim and save it to your Desktop.
When the file has been saved, go to your Desktop and double-click on ccsetupxxx_slim.exe
Follow the prompts to install the program.
Complete the installation then:
  • Double-click the CCleaner shortcut on the desktop to start the program.
  • Click on the Options block on the left, then choose Cookies.
    • Under Cookies to Delete, highlight any cookies you would like to retain permanently
    • Click the right arrow > to move them to the Cookies to Keep window.
  • Go into Options > Advanced uncheck Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours
  • Click Cleaner on the left then Run Cleaner on the right to run the program.
  • Important: Make sure that ALL browser windows are closed before selecting Run Cleaner
  • Caution: It is not recommended that you use the 'Registry' feature unless you are very familiar with the registry.
  • Exit CCleaner after it has completed its process.

----------

Your Java is out of date.

Older versions have vulnerabilities that malicious sites can use to infect your system.

First install the new Sun Java Runtime Environment

Be sure to close all browser windows before beginning the install.

Remove the old version(s)
  • Download JavaRa and unzip the file to your Desktop.
  • Open JavaRA.exe and choose Remove Older Versions
  • Once complete exit JavaRA and delete the program.
  • Run CCleaner.

----------

Download Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to the Desktop to remove Windows Messenger.

Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

Unzip the file on the Desktop. Open the MessengerDisable.exe and choose the bottom box - Uninstall Windows Messenger and click Apply.

Exit out of MessengerDisable then delete the two files that were put on the Desktop.
