Default vundo virus has altered things!!

I have had the vundo worm virus!!!! it is evil and took a heelluva lot of getting rid. I now seem to have managed that, but it has changed some admin settings. ie. I can not get display settings, it says my administrater has switched it off?
Could somebody tell me how I can restart this.
It has also stopped my cd/dvd working, device manager shows the ? mark, On clicking it says drivers working but windows cannot find the device?
Its windows xp sp2,.
would be grateful 4 any help...thanks
