Just got this there is a new virus going around and many will fall to what they are doing to get the virus on your computer. The virus is a Olympic Torch which 'burns' the hard disc C of your computer. Once this is done there is no way to fix your computer.
The virus is being sent in an email called "Invitiaition . DO NOT OPEN IT REGASDLESS OF WHO SENT IT .
So if someone you know send that type of email to you delete it DON"t onpe it . For 9 out of 10 the email address is NOT THE PERSON WHO SENT THE EMAIL.
This virus was found July 29 2009 by Macfee and others.
Hope this information is helpful.

Just curious - My computer shuts down when I plug in a USB cable! This just started... Is this really a virus and how can I fix it?

try this tool: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ download the free version and run a scan. If you have anything it should pick it up :)

i'm starting to build a virus database on my website - http://ryanshawit.webs.com/virusdatabasebeta.htm

the one i mentioned earlier is the first one listed.
