Even though web mail may not be fully secure at least all my stuff never gets anywhere near my pc.

To be fair though this virus was operating without the use of a on PC email program, it had it's own built in POP3.

So on that basis it could work on any PC with web-mail or POP3/Outlook etc.

I think he picked it up via MSN though, bloody kids and PCs...

Still your web-mail point is very valid nothing gets near the PC.

When my grandkids came to stay I had to create a seperate account and lock mine down totally and all they wanna do is use Paint to draw because before they managed to shut the system down in about 4 key presses not including normal shutdown, I still can't figure out how they did it to this day.
