Can you download anything?

Download TrendMicro HijackThis.exe (HJT) to the Desktop.
  • Double-click on HJTInstall.
  • Click on the Install button.
  • It will automatically place HJT in C:\Program Files\TrendMicro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe.
  • Upon install, HijackThis should open for you.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button
  • HijackThis will scan and then a log will open in notepad.
  • Copy and then paste the entire contents of the log in your post.
  • Do not have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

If you still have problems send me a PM and I will see what I can do.

You may want to try changing your password to something different.

Hi there, I'm back, thanks for all your help, I had to take it to a repair man, he said that the last time i had it repaired someone had put a different version of xp on it, now its sorted.

I have another question, i have this computer i am on now which is windows vista home, i have AVG 8 and anti malware, are they checking my emails before i open them. I have looked in the set up of AVG and it said its default is microsoft outlook but i am on windows mail and window live mail with hotmail.

Please understand guys If you change any hardware with a system activation will need to done again, if you have changed the motherboard the key will be different, you must activate via call to microsoft. HOWEVER, there is a virus going ou that tell you this message and requests that you reactivate by clicking here. Google it as im not sure when or where it was seen, I had it at work and it got thru a government firewall system.
