Default Attachments

hi people hope someone can help running windows xp with hotmail account problem at the moment is when i get any attachments sent in jpg . i go to open them and they open in windows media player where i cant do anything with them is there a setting been ...

I don't understand your question
but in general, if you right click you can select "open with" and find the program you want to open it with

that is just the point this option does not come up with a right click of the mouse ,the question is when an attachment is sent the pc normally decides either photo jpg opens in windows media player or document opens in microsoft word or simular so you can enlarge or do what you want

Open My Computer, click the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the File Types tab.

Scroll through the list and highlight the file extensions you want to change. Highlight jpeg and you will be presented with an option to change the open with program.
