 Cannot open email attachment. Just get gobblygook.

I receive a monthly newsletter as an attachment on a email. Its sent as a winmail document. When trying to open it all I get is strings of numbers. I have Microsoft Office and MS Word. Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem...

Cannot open email attachment. Just get gobblygook.
It's most likely written in a different format - either completely different application, or an older version of Word. Try opening it in a compatibility mode.
Easiest way of doing this is to "save as" it to your desktop, and select a different format. Then go to your desktop and open it. Keep trying this with different formats until it works.
