Apparently i can not run the newest version of Windows Live Messenger. I can run the older version ok but when i tried to login to the new one it says: "Windows Live Communications Platform has stopped working"
Any help on this would be great as i can't seem to find any good help on it so far. |

I had this with my mums PC (when it was still mine)
Just when they released the new version.. couldn't get it working, then I reformatted and gave to her, worked fine first time. As of other threads, if you're going to reinstall Vista/7 x64, then I wouldn't worr about it. Use eBuddy or something until then, and it'll probably work fine next time.

This time round i have installed Vista Business 64-bit over my previous 32-bit. Everything works fine except the same problem persists and that is the "windows live communications platform" error. It keeps coming up, preventing me from login into Msn.
I've tried other Windows live products as well and is the same. All my other computers have worked fine for that new Windows Live Messenger except this one. So i wonder why that is? (looks like its just having problems with my computer just built, hm )Help would be appreciated.. |
