| do i have to have aol to have aim?? No, you can got to AOL.com and download AIM. Some versions are quirky. Version 6 seems OK and can be downloaded at http://www.aim.com/get_aim/win/latest_win.adp. If the link doesn't work, google it. |

| do i have to have aol to have aim?? No, you don't need an AOL account to use AIM. AOL, however, will promote the "AOL account" every chance they got, and make the AIM and AOL account kind of like one thing.Don't worry, I thought I needed an AOL to use AIM, too. :)Good Luck,Decaf |
