hi all. i have accidentally erased my password and i forgot the answer to the secret question, so now i can't access my e-mail account. microsoft is giving me a generic answer everytime. i really need this account, so creating another is out of the question. all my contacts use ...

You need to contact M/soft or follow the lost password retrieval system in hotmail.

the password was saved in the auto sign-in , i unchecked it by mistake. i was clicking the mouse a little too fast.


m/soft is a hopeless case all the help is useless all generic..........click this link if this and click this link if that.

no real person is reading only the computer robot named max.

Short of trying to guess it you have no other option but to go through the normal retrieval channels.

Did when you signed up use an alternate email address? If so that is the only possible way to recover your account, by sending the details to it

Firefox autosaves stored passwords regardless - have you tried looking in Security -> Saved Passwords?
