hey all!

I am currently using Microsoft Outlook but accidentally used Microsoft Outlook Express instead. so now both outlooks have become my 'default' mail retrievers. however, i only want to use Microsoft Outlook as my default. In Outlook Express in tools>options>general there is a question that asks you if you want to use this application as my default mail handler at the bottom and the box has already been click (mistakenly), i cannot remove it to make it not my default mail handler anymore because the button turned 'gray' indicating to me that once it's clicked i cannot disable it again. is there any other way to disable it as my default or is this program screwed?
by the way, I am using Outlook because it will help me sync all contacts into my iphone via iTunes... and im pretty sure iTunes didn't do anything bad.

you can see the options toolbar here
hope you guys can come up with answers!

Opening Outlook and setting that as default in the settings removes Outlook Express as the default automatically.

Is the default one shown in Start Menu? You can change it by clicking on start, then right click on your username, and click on properties. Under the start menu tab, click customize and choose Microsoft Office Outlook as the email to show on start menu.

Start > Control Panel > Set program access and defaults. Go down to mail client and you should be able to select "Microsoft Outlook".
