Hi some mates are on Msn others on Skype, is their a programme for all?

Nope, not possible - while a lot of clients will let you do more than one IM client, there's none that integrate Skype. This wouldn't be possible without Skype's approval, so I don't think developers will get on it any time soon.

skype is its own thing it cannot be used with another IM service
However there are some that allow all

Can't you talk to people with msn accounts on yahoo messenger. I'm not sure but I think you can

With skype I think the only way you can talk to someone is via the skype client

I personally only use yahoo and msn and have them both running when i'm online

yes that was don't a while ago. for people who have myspace or facebook IRCs or aim might want to use one program for obvious reasons for example I use msn, yahoo, myspaceIM, facebook, aim, google talk, and skype so I need one program to use all but I still have to use the skype program for I can't find any plugins or a better IRC client but skype, msn, and yahoo all do VoIP.

Skype is not in any other IM programs. However, Miranda IM and Pidgen are nice free programs that let you use MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, IRC, and a few others.
