Almost every time I sign into windows live messenger, it won't let me, but if I try and try it will finally allow me. After that i'm unable to check my email inbox, it won't let me in, it won't finish loading, even if I go to msn hotmail and try to check it, I'm unable to get in to my inbox. My computer will allow me to surf the web, so that's why I think it may be firewalled. Can someone please help me?

Are you having this issue while away from home, trying to use it at work or some other place? What kind of firewall software are you using? What kind of computer are you using when you have these issues of not being able to log into you messenger and your hotmail?

I find MSNM and hotmail always seem to be offline.

They get some heavy usage so wait an hour or two and try again.
