Default Links not working

HI I have already read the similar thread on this but feel mine is slightly different. Whenever I get a link in an email, clicking on it doesnt work. I can right click and copy and paste it into IE and open it there, but thats a right pain. I also get this at some other sites when it says "click here" etc
Any ideas guys?

Used to happen to me, its for security reasons even if you know where the links going, try holding down Ctrl, it used to work for me.

Try installing Firefox, a better web browser, and Thunderbird, a better email client, and see if the problems disappear.

Try going into IE Tools/Internet Options/Programs and check to see if IE is set as the Default Browser. If not, change the setting accordingly and Apply.

Default Links not working

HI guys. Well I checked IE is the default and it is, holding control when clicking a link doesnt work, and as for Firefox..Well I like IE and to be honest, I'm a little too lazy to learn another browser The thing is, its ok to change programs but the original programs should work!! Why has OE suddenly stopped working properly?

Cheers again guys

Not saying you have to use them, just check if they work. That gives us more info.

A few other solutions here that are worth trying.

Before you do though, just check in OE/Tools/Options/Read .. that there is not a tick in the box "Read all messages in Plain Text" .... if there is untick it Apply and OK out.
